Tulsa, Oklahoma, U.S., September 16, 2013– U.S. Representative Jim Bridenstine, who represents Oklahoma’s 1st District, recently visited the Linde Process Plants, Inc. (LPP) facilities at the Tulsa Port of Catoosa where the company fabricates sophisticated equipment for customers in the natural gas, refining, petrochemical, and helium industries.
Steve Bertone, President and CEO of LPP, said, “We were very excited and honored to host Congressman Bridenstine, who supports the industry and a great proponent of developing domestic natural gas resources to help the U.S. become more energy independent. During his visit, we were able to show him some to the sophisticated equipment we are assembling for processing natural gas reserves, which is stimulating tremendous demand for LPP engineering and equipment.”
LPP designs, fabricates and assembles plant modules to process shale gas and associated liquids at its 20-acre fabrication center. During the visit, Bertone escorted the Congressman on a complete tour of the facility which includes two fabrication shops, outdoor assembly and staging areas, and a barge-loading site on the inland waterway. LPP employs more than 400 people at its headquarters office in Tulsa and the fabrication shop at Port of Catoosa.
Congressman Bridenstine said, “It was a pleasure to visit LPP and see the impressive equipment they are producing at their excellent facility.
